Your identity – who you think you are – drives your behavior, whether you realize it or not. He made you and knows how to meet your needs, and especially your need for self worth. We want you to know (not merely head knowledge but heart knowledge deep within) that your value is not dependent on your ability to earn the fickle acceptance of other people, but, rather, its true source is the love and acceptance of God. We want you to have body confidence and not body consciousness. We want you to know that it is your beauty within that truly matters. We want you to have an accurate view of yourself and to know deep in your soul your value and significance. It is our greatest desire for you to know who you are in Christ. We live FOR our identity and not FROM it. We try to meet our needs in the wrong way.
